We create place.
Brynn Grey is a collection of companies run independently.
Since 1988 we’ve been pursuing a simple mission: solve complex
land use problems, create place and serve our communities.
“Creating place” almost always involves solving complex land issues is a challenging process , as consultants, developers, builders and investors. Recession [Recession Copy …. A big part of any developer’s story is what they were doing during the last recession – the 18 months between 2007 through 2009. While most in our industry were heading for cover during the worst real estate downturn since the Great Depression, we continued to invest and develop without restructuring a single loan. And that is one of the many beauties of our stories about creating place. In addition to being timeless and loved, creating place is remarkably resilient during economic downturns.]
Brynn Grey national and local awards include: National Award for Smart Growth, Smart Growth Hall of Fame, Eagle Award for Peak One Neighborhood, and 2019 ULI Impact Award finalist for Basecamp Center; press articles in Metropolitan Home, Cottage Living, Urban Land Institute, Sunset Magazine, Better Homes and Garden, the Denver Post and more.
TEAM CULTURE >>
“Culture eats strategy for breakfast” is a famous quote from legendary business writer Peter Drucker that has become a staple of the Conscious Capitalism movement, of which Brynn Grey is a part. Culture reflects the underlying social fabric of the business signaling “how” business is done. We support team members’ and their families’ happiness and excellence; we create win-win partnerships and collaborations between all of our partners and team members; we care about our communities and the environment; We surprise and delight people; and we support Conscious Capitalism that holds an idealistic, inspiring purpose combined with a pragmatic focus on results is a powerful combination for social cooperation and human progress.
For us, “culture” signals “how” business is done while “strategy focuses on “what” we do. We identify and meet the needs of our customers; we weave together separate entities and teams that focus on common value propositions, relationships and innovations; we are always seeking insight and learning from our own and other’s experiences; we create simple, meaningful metrics; we have vision; we are passionate; and we are disciplined.
